Our Story
Elyra Cascais began with an idea we kept returning to: a home where the stay itself could be as memorable as the destination.
We imagined long breakfasts with no plans to rush into, afternoons that drift between the pool and the spa, and evenings that begin around a shared table and end with a favourite film. A place where family and friends could come together, with enough room for everyone to find a little quiet of their own.
That vision gradually became Elyra. We brought together the things we love about travelling - thoughtful design, a sense of discovery and the pleasure of being well looked after - with the warmth and freedom of a private home.
The name gave that feeling a voice. Soft and musical, Elyra evokes a sense of harmony. To us, it means a place where life finds its own rhythm.
